SQUARE FINGERED HANDS
everyday God provides
ten different exits for our belief
his blood is a mystery trial
somehow leaving us lost
in that
wrath sucks up a lot of intelligence
manual laborer may sound dull
however must lump it
his silhouette splendid
tattooed all over with passion
awaiting to be deciphered
he uses fists as pillows
to rock an innocent child
or to hold somebody’s mate
punched in the pub
how many nuances are required
to establish distinctness between us (02nd November 2013)
