October 2012 (4)

PAPER CUT
her beautiful body
matched by simple mind
could never lose a rakish air
toque on her head
with a spotted veil
made hollow sound
fantasies calculate a response
about leaving but the bills
she briskly walked away
angrily slamming revolving door

that car did not intend to
collide with another
old lady from no 4
imagined different life ending
last night meant to cheer her up

weight of someone else’s need
was hanged out on the thread
it runs crosswise
brutally mixing
with imprint on the flesh
soft blows
let her stand up to leave
pain is not a final destination
she has given him
the best years of her life (29th October 2012)
