May 2012 (5)

14 May 2012 at 21:44 (Poems/Poetry)

newspaper on fire
hisses with orange anger
burns a sight in personal outburst
one of many ways of dying

during peak on motorways
thirsty voices commit suicide
puddle not found
drank not deeply
slobbering trails of water over
angular humanity
other looked in different direction
hoping to celebrate relief minutes
it hurt them as much
as wood splinter under skin
but chosen the worst
to continue living

complaint applications
scattered mindlessly
lit lines for night time drivers
whose future stretching in front of
may be better late than never (13th May 2012)
